Meet Emerson and Sawyer! Two of the cutest little snuggle bugs I had the opportunity to photograph twice so far:) They came to the studio for their first newborn shoot and I thought it would be fun to go to their house to document them in their true environment with their parents, Ariel and Tyler, whom I posted about a week ago. I will certainly post their newborn photos from the studio, but I wanted to post these images first as they are real life.
When I arrived the babies were ready to go, fed and happy. I took photos of things as they happened and of course we set up a few shots. We used the outside of the house as well, to capture their cute property.
This was a blast, I hope to offer sessions like this soon. A huge reason why I typically do studio shoots is because of light. I know light, but it is different in every environment and in every house and room really. I love to shoot with what is available and in Emerson and Sawyer’s situation that is what I did.
At the end of the shoot we put baby Sawyer into his father’s coming home from the hospital outfit. We did this just to show how tiny the little guy is right now. We also used his dad’s baby blanket on a few of the photos. It is so fun to include different family elements.
Enjoy the photos, I would love to know what you think about this idea.. Should I do lifestyle sessions, stick to studio sessions? Do more newborn photographs outside?
Thanks for the input.
Congrats again to Tyler and Ariel on your little ones. It was such a pleasure to work with you both.
Enjoy these gorgeous little miracles!
