Wow! Finally, the long awaited post. But first.. here is the back story…

So back in the day, way back in 2011 I had the pleasure of meeting Tricia and Craig. I photographed their engagement photos and their wedding in 2012. When they found out they were expecting their first little girl, we did maternity photos and when she arrived, she came to my Manchester, New Hampshire Studio for her newborn portraits. We also did outdoor newborn photos with baby Julia.

Craig and Tricia have been active participants in my holiday photos each year, but this year was special. It was November, and they came in and told me they were expecting.  They were so excited to be adding another little one to the family.

So I was scrolling through Facebook and boom. I saw it. It was January 5th and Craig posted “So Tricia and I got some crazy news yesterday…. Family of 3 to family of 5!!!! Twins!!!”

They had no idea and that is what makes this amazing. Tricia found out at her ultrasound more then half way through her pregnancy.

I was told to get ready for some photo shoots of the twins and I could not have been more excited.

There is something just so amazing about the relationships I form, doing what I love. I love seeing families grow and I have been there from the beginning.

I am going to leave you with just a few of my favorite photos from Julia, Kenna and Colin’s portrait session. Their first together as a family of 5. The babies were just perfect, did a good job taking turns, smiling and sleeping.  I had my two interns from Derryfield School in Manchester on baby duty, backdrop duty and setup. They helped burp the babies and were there for baby safety (hands on most of the time). They also stopped at my parents house on the way up to the studio and grabbed some lilacs, even though one of them was highly allergic, I think they worked out perfectly!

Congrats Tricia and Craig. I am so, so happy to have been chosen to photograph your babies. Also, thank you for the new baby bucket from Budweiser:) I will be sure everyone knows how awesome it is!
